ADA SwaraysIn association with Aotearoa Digital Arts, Helen Varley Jamieson and Vicki Smith of Avatar Body Collision (ABC), are planning to host a small series of ‘soireés’ or online gatherings to run alongside the ADA discussions. Using ABC’s software in-development, UpStage <http://www.upstage.org.nz/>. Upstage is a browser-based ‘stage’ where one can join and bring in your own graphics for avatars, stage props, and backgrounds. These gatherings are intended as purely fun and social environment for SCANZ, ADA and others interested, to join and to get to know in a playful and live online format. As time draws nearer you will be able to email Helen for log-in details if you wish to be a player (with an onscreen avatar and voice); or as an audience members (text chat only).
